How do I get to Chiquila?
The closest airport is Cancun International Airport. Chiquila is located 139 kilometers from the airport, approximately a 2-hour drive. For your convenience we can arrange a private driver service, offering one-way or round-trip transportation. A second option is to hire an official local taxi services at the airport in Cancun. A third option is to arrange public bus transportation such as ADO or MAYAB.
There is an Airport ADO Bus that runs approx every hour from 7:00am to 10:00pm. It leaves from the airport Terminals 2 and 3 and goes to the downtown central bus station in Cancun City on Tulum Ave. If your flight arrives early enough you can catch the 7:30am MAYAB line bus to Chiquila. The next bus is at 12:30pm MAYAB line to Chiquila, and the last bus is 1:45pm NORESTE bus line. (Many flights arrive in Cancun too late to make these connections so you might have to spend one night downtown at a hotel close to the Bus Station.)

Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Is a deposit required when booking?
A 50% deposit of the total room cost (including taxes) is required to secure your reservation. For bookings during the Christmas and New Year’s holiday period 100% payment of the reservation amount is required.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee applies. For cancellations made 13 days or less prior to arrival date there is 100% penalty. There are no refunds or credits issued for early checkouts. For reservations during the period of Christmas and New Year, no refunds will be given in case of cancellations or changes.
What climate can I expect in Chiquila?
Temperatures range from 24°C to 36°C, making it perfect for your days at the beach. The cooler times of the year correlate with the northern hemisphere winter season. Due to our natural environment located amidst the Mayan jungle we recommend that you apply mosquito repellent throughout day. *In our rooms we offer organic natural mosquito repellent for guests.

Whale Shark Tours
Only during the summer season (from early June to September) we offer this “Adventure of a Lifetime”! It can be a very long day on the water searching and chasing the whale sharks as far out as 100 miles from shore. But, the rewards are well worth it! Price is $100.00 USD per person. Advance reservation is recommended.
